Historic Tombstone
The Old West comes alive the American Landmark town noted as the "Town Too Tough to Die." Retrace the steps of Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday and Bat Masterson in this authenic 1880s boomtown. From the boardwalk covered sidewalks lining rows of interesting shops, restaurants, saloons and museums, there is something for everyone in Tombstone. Take a stagecoach ride tour into the past. Enjoy a number of gunfights including re-enactments along historic Allen Street. With so many locals in period costumes, history comes alive in Tombstone.

Places you don't want to miss in Tombstone:
  • The Legendary OK Corral (Historic re-enactments take place at 2 p.m. daily.)
  • Boot Hill Cemetary (See the graves of those who died in the wild and wooly west of yesteryear.)
  • The Birdcage Theater (Take a self guided tour along the velvet curtains and see where World's Longest Running Poker Game entertained the likes of gunfighters and miners alike.)
  • Helldorado Set (Family Comedic Gunfights and Stunt Shows daily)
  • The Crystal Palace (The original roulette wheels grace the walls at this drinking establishment.)
  • Six Gun City (Enjoy food and drink as historic re-enactments of many Tombstone shoot outs take place.)
  • The Rose Bush Museum (Check out the Worlds Largest Rose Bush planted in the 1880s and brought from Scotland while touring this incredible museum.)
  • Tombstone's Courthouse Museum (The gallows remain outside!)

Kartchner Caverns State Park
Located just 28 miles away, Kartchner Caverns offers daily tours of both the Rotunda/Throne Room and the recently opened Big Room.  As one of the Top 10 Caves in the world, you can marvel at a variety of colors and cave formations that all started with just a drop of water.

All tours are guided by a trained tour guide. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling: (520)586-CAVE. The cave averages 68°F and 98% humidity year round. All cave trails are barrier-free. Due to wet surfaces and changes in grades, strollers and walkers are not allowed on the tours. Some tours are not available for those under 6 years of age.

Kartchner Caverns is open each day (except Christmas) from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Bisbee
Tour the underground mines or visit the historic Copper Queen Hotel built in 1902 while traveling to nearby Bisbee, just 23 miles away.
Cochise Stronghold
Once the refuge of Apache Chief Cochise and his people, Cochise Stronghold in the Dragoon Mountains offers not only a wealth of native American history but wonderful rock climbing and bird watching. Cochise Stronghold is just 30 miles away in the Coronado National Forest.
Mexico
Enjoy shopping in nearby Naco, Mexico or Agua Prieta, Mexico. Both are less than an hour away. Don't forget the authenic Mexican food.
